Coral Estate Luxury Resort

Beautiful spot. Visited for a week and stayed in a superior apartment with the open living room concept. Was initially not sure, but ended up really liking it. We were traveling with our twins (7 months) and the staff (restaurants, housekeeping, etc.) was always helpful and accommodating. The cribs and high chairs were of good quality. It was also great to do night dives right off the resort.

I have been coming to the island & the Coral Estate for many years. The resort is still beautiful - the place is just great if you want to be a bit out of the city life. but unfortunately there is also change to be seen here (like everywhere else in the world) ... so many constructions (in the whole resort), loud trucks and generally a lot of noise.... and nature is disappearing more and more over the years. The sea is wonderful, the restaurants are good and the apartment (Lanais) is new and nicely furnished. This does not apply to everyone, but for people who come often, the menu in the restaurant can be changed from time to time :). As written, our apartment was really good, but you can hear a garbage container all day (10-15 times a day and very early in the morning - from 07:00). You can hear bottles breaking and it is not possible to sleep. First, we could not determine the exact location, but it's a few meters behind a parking lot, but you can hear it very strongly. Maybe not in other apartments, but we really had problems with it. We said this at reception and were told that the container had already been moved, but of course we weren't helped and that shouldn't be the case in a luxury resort. ....and after emptying the garbage cans, they are washed on the parking lot and then, at the latest, the sleep is over. We'll be back soon and maybe you can improve it.

This was a horrible start to our trip. -Arrived to check-in and were told to "come back in an hour" 3 times and our room was finally ready around 7pm after waiting all day and missing out on using the pools because we had nowhere to access our bags. -The place has like 6 cars total to rent on site, despite advertising that amenity. None were available the entirety of our stay. -When we finally got into our room, housekeeping had left the bathroom window open and hundreds of bugs were swarming the mirror and shower. Luckily one of the girls at reception had some strong bug spray in her car to help because the facility had nothing on hand. -None of the lights on the paths were working when we arrived so it was a pitch black walk trying to find our room. -The shower is not water tight and our first shower ended up flooding the whole hallway under the door. -There is gap under the main room door large enough that we were watching spiders crawl in and had to use our towels as a barrier to keep them out. -It was never mentioned that we'd need reservations in order to eat at the restaurants. So dinner rolled around and we were told we couldn't eat here, which is a problem because we are miles from grocery stores, there are only potato chips available to purchase as snacks, and that detail of no cars available for rent. -Despite advertising 2 pools, there us only 1 available to most guests. -Service at all restaurants is very slow. (Think at least a half hour to get water) -in exchange for ruining our first day, the manager offered us one free breakfast and welcome juice. -I will say the location is beautiful. The sea is lovely. The main pool is quite nice. But you do have to purchase items to use it, even as a hotel guests. The highlight was without a doubt the spa with an amazing massage, but we lucked out as there was only one appointment ti.e available for the entirety of our trip. It could be nice, but be sure you know what you're getting into when booking here.

"You can't get closer to perfection” I would like to start off talking about the wonderful facilities from the spa, to the beach, to the dive shop and to the activities/ restaurants. But, the staff and the Geminid meteor shower stole the show. It is amazing to me that everyone was so friendly from Shy our waitress to Rose in the bakery shop. I would have to say that every patron had no choice but to be in a good mood. That is hard to find and I must emphasize the fact that this place is a true gem. The privacy that the VIP suite allowed us to have, even though we were sharing it with others customers was an experience all unto itself. I have traveled all over the world and I am planning to make a trip back to enjoy once again. If I had one negative thing to say it really isn't that of a negative. Check-in was a touch long but with the tranquility of the property surrounding us, I believe we barely noticed. In conclusion if you haven't figured out already I highly recommend this place to stay in Curacao. I must say a special thank you to all the staff for caring so much.

We had a great week at the resort. Our apartment was spacious and well-appointed; we particularly liked the outdoor sitting area and kitchen. It's really useful to have the on-site bakery in the morning. Good swimming and snorkelling from the beach. Koraal bar was excellent for evening drinks. The beachside service from the Karakter restaurant could be a bit variable, depending on who was on duty.
